London-based rapper Tinie Tempah has renewed his deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing by signing a worldwide publishing agreement.
As part of the new deal, Sony/ATV will continue to manage Tempah’s catalogue, including his work on his first album Disc-Overy (2010), second album Demonstration (2013), and upcoming third album Youth (2016), scheduled for release in September via Disturbing London Records/Parlophone/Warner Music.
Guy Moot, Sony/ATV UK Managing Director and President of European Creative, who originally signed Tempah to EMI Music Publishing in 2010, stated : “We are absolutely thrilled to continue such a long and happy relationship with Tinie Tempah, a truly special person, songwriter and proven hit maker.”
The UK emcee, who has etched out a lane for himself over the years due to his collaborative efforts with notable names such as Calvin Harris, 2 Chainz, Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, and Paloma Faith, is looking forward to furthering the relationship with his long-time music publisher.
“I’m super excited to continue my journey with Sony/ATV. They have been incredibly supportive from the beginning and I believe they have what it takes to support me in this new capacity and in the next stage of my journey,” said Tempah.
