Nick Pacelli Appointed to SVP of Strategic Marketing at Republic Records

Newly appointed Republic Group President Charlie Walk has announced the appointment of Nick Pacelli as Sr. Vice President of Strategic Marketing & Partnerships at Republic Records.

In his new role, Pacelli is expected to use his extensive experience and business relationships as a brand marketer to create new opportunities between artists on Republic Records’ roster and brands, to add value to future projects and releases from the label.

“Nick’s diverse branding experience along with his understanding of music’s global impact and influence gives us the opportunity to overachieve in this space. There’s no question that Nick will make a massive difference in this newest area of growth for us,” commented Walk.

Pacelli stated, “I’m very honored to join the Republic Records team. As the market leader I am excited by our unique ability to lead the modernization for how brands and labels will work together to write the future of our industry. I can’t wait to get started. I’d like to thank Charlie, Monte [Lipman], and Avery [Lipman] for this opportunity.”

Prior to his appointment at Republic Records, Pacelli worked as the Executive Director of Entertainment at advertising agency Translation (founded by former music executive Steve Stoute), where he curated music campaigns for American Eagle and Sprite, in addition to contributing to the strategy of Budweiser’s Made In America Music Festival.

Pacelli also held positions at PMK*BNC, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and TBWA\Chiat\Day.
