Following a five-year hiatus, popular rock band Good Charlotte and global music company BMG have announced a worldwide partnership, which will include the release of the quintet’s as-yet-untitled album on their newly formed MDDN label.
“We feel our partnership with BMG is a natural one, as we’ve been fortunate enough to see firsthand their commitment to the artists they’re in business with,” said Benji and Joel Madden. “As the momentum for Good Charlotte continues to build in this new chapter of our career, BMG has consistently demonstrated the type of forward thinking, artist friendly, entrepreneurial spirit that we really relate to and is in line with the way we want our business to feel. We are vey happy to announce this partnership and are committed to letting creativity continue to lead the way.”
Tom “Grover” Biery, EVP Recorded Music, BMG US, said, “BMG thrives on creating authentic partnerships with artists and working alongside Good Charlotte and MDDN is a perfect fit. Benji and Joel have an exciting vision for the group and their new music, and we look forward to helping them fulfill that vision – sharing it with fans worldwide.”
